Lots of Antique Brass Knuckles
The first 4 came from Asia and seem to be the oldest. I would guess they were made in the 1700′s or early 1800′s. Top row are all brass, bronze, and copper. Bottom row are mostly iron, with lead and aluminum at the end. Many were found by metal detecting and dug up from the ground. About half of these were used during or before the American Civil War(1861-1865). Several others came from the UK and Europe. The last one which is marked “USMC” was custom made during WWII and carried by a US Marine, it still has its original leather sheath and shows lots of wear.
